This 2-Ingredient Apple Cinnamon Roll Bake is a super easy and delicious dessert or breakfast option that comes together with minimal effort. Featuring soft cinnamon rolls baked with sweet apple pie filling, this simple recipe is perfect for a quick treat or a lazy weekend morning. The combination of cinnamon rolls and apple pie filling creates a warm, gooey, and comforting dish that’s sure to satisfy.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 x 17.5 oz tubes Pillsbury Grands! Cinnamon Rolls (two tubes)

  • 2 x 21 oz cans apple pie filling (two cans)

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.

  • Prepare the Cinnamon Rolls:
Open the cans of cinnamon rolls. Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters. Set the icing aside for later.

  • Layer the Apple Pie Filling:
Spread the apple pie filling evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

  • Add the Cinnamon Rolls:
Evenly distribute the quartered cinnamon rolls on top of the apple pie filling. Make sure the pieces are spread out for even baking.

  • Bake:
Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cinnamon rolls are golden brown and cooked through.

  • Top with Icing:
Once the bake is done, remove it from the oven and drizzle the icing (from the cinnamon roll tubes) over the top. Let it melt and spread before serving.

  • Serve:
Serve warm and enjoy the gooey, delicious combination of cinnamon rolls and apple pie filling!

Notes

  • You can add a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg on top of the apple pie filling before baking to enhance the flavor.

  • If you want a more crisp topping, bake for a few extra minutes, but keep an eye on it to prevent burning.

  • You can also use a different type of pie filling, like cherry or peach, if you prefer a different flavor.
