Description

A tangy, creamy, and slightly spicy white barbecue sauce that originated in Alabama. Perfect for grilled chicken, pork, or as a zesty dipping sauce. This easy homemade sauce brings a unique twist to your BBQ dishes with its bold vinegar and mayonnaise base.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise

  • 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar

  • 3 tsp water

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper

  • 1/4 tsp hot sauce


Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise and apple cider vinegar until smooth.

  • Add water, Worcestershire sauce, kosher salt, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and hot sauce.

  • Whisk all ingredients together until fully combined.

  • Taste and adjust seasoning as desired.
