Ingredients

4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced or pressed

½ teaspoon dried oregano

½ teaspoon dried basil

½ teaspoon kosher salt

¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1 lemon, zested

2 pounds shrimp, deveined

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons chopped flat Italian parsley, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, basil, salt, black pepper, and lemon zest.

Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.

Transfer shrimp to a baking dish in a single layer. Sprinkle grated Parmesan evenly over the shrimp.

Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
- Remove from oven and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp before serving. Serve with garlic bread or over pasta for a complete meal. You can also broil for the last 1-2 minutes for a golden cheese crust.
