Description

Baked Ranch Chicken is a simple and flavorful dish where juicy chicken breasts are coated in a creamy ranch dressing and a seasoned breadcrumb mixture, then baked to golden perfection. The addition of Parmesan cheese adds a deliciously cheesy crust, making this an easy and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs (or regular breadcrumbs)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with cooking spray or olive oil.
  • In a shallow bowl, mix together the ranch dressing and grated Parmesan cheese.
  • In another shallow bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Coat each chicken breast in the ranch dressing mixture, ensuring it’s fully covered. Then, dredge the chicken in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to ensure the breadcrumbs stick to the chicken.
  • Place the coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle the olive oil over the top of the chicken breasts.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the breadcrumbs are golden and crispy.
  • Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can substitute regular breadcrumbs for panko if desired, though panko gives a crispier texture.
  • For extra flavor, try adding some grated garlic or lemon zest to the breadcrumb mixture.
