Description

This comforting Beef and Rotini in Garlic Parmesan Sauce is a creamy pasta dish packed with savory ground beef and rich Parmesan cheese. Infused with garlic and Italian seasoning, it’s an easy weeknight dinner that feels indulgent but comes together quickly.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz rotini pasta

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour

  • 2 cups milk

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter

  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook rotini pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil or butter over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned and cooked through, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.

  • Add minced garlic to the beef and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  • Sprinkle flour over the beef and garlic mixture, stirring well to combine. Cook for 1–2 minutes to remove the raw flour taste.

  • Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.

  • Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.

  • Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.

  • Add the cooked rotini to the sauce and toss to coat evenly. Heat through for 1–2 minutes.

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor and texture.

  • Adjust seasoning to taste and add more cheese if desired.

  • Can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.

  • Leftovers store well and reheat nicely.
