Cajun Seasoning:

  • 12 teaspoons chili powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika

  • 2 teaspoons salt

  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar

Steak Bites:

  • 1 1/2 pounds steak, cut into 2-inch cubes

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 4 tablespoons butter

  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic

  • 1 tablespoon finely minced parsley


Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine all Cajun seasoning ingredients and mix well.

  • Toss the steak cubes with the Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites in a single layer (cook in batches if needed) and sear until browned on all sides, about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare to medium. Remove steak and set aside.

  • Reduce heat to medium, add butter to the skillet. Once melted, add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  • Return steak bites to the skillet and toss in the garlic butter sauce to coat evenly.

  • Remove from heat, sprinkle with minced parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

Use a tender cut like sirloin or ribeye for best results. Adjust cayenne pepper to control spice level. These steak bites pair well with mashed potatoes, rice, or a fresh salad.
