Description

This Chili Cheese Crescent Hot Dog Bake is a fun and flavorful twist on the classic chili dog.   • 8 hot dogs

  • 1 can crescent rolls

  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated

  • 2 (15-ounce) cans chili

  • 4 tablespoons (½ stick) butter, melted

  • 1 teaspoon parsley, minced

  • ½ teaspoon garlic salt


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  • Pour both cans of chili into the bottom of the baking dish and spread evenly.

  • Roll each hot dog in a triangle of crescent dough, starting at the wider end.

  • Arrange the wrapped hot dogs on top of the chili in a single layer.

  • Brush the tops of the crescent-wrapped hot dogs with the melted butter, then sprinkle with garlic salt and minced parsley.

  • Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown.

  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the hot dogs and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

  • Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Serve warm, optionally topped with sour cream or chopped green onions.
