Description

This Creamy Garlic Parmesan Tortellini with Chicken & Broccoli is a rich and comforting one-pan meal packed with flavor. Tender cheese tortellini, juicy chicken, and perfectly cooked broccoli are tossed in a velvety garlic parmesan sauce. It’s easy to make and ready in under 30 minutes — perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

  • 2 cups broccoli florets (steamed or cooked)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook the Tortellini:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  • Cook the Chicken:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5–6 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  • Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3–4 minutes, stirring frequently.

  • Add Cheese and Combine:
Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth. Add cooked tortellini, chicken, and broccoli. Toss everything together and cook for another 2–3 minutes until heated through.

  • Serve:
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and extra Parmesan, if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

  • You can use rotisserie chicken for a quicker version.

  • Add red pepper flakes for a little heat.

  • Substitute spinach or asparagus for broccoli if preferred.
