Description

A creamy, comforting slow cooker dish, Crockpot Angel Chicken combines tender chicken breasts with a rich sauce made from cream cheese, butter, and Italian seasoning. Served over angel hair pasta, it’s an effortless, crowd-pleasing meal perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 10.5-ounce can cream of chicken soup

  • 1-ounce packet dry Italian dressing mix

  • ½ cup chicken broth

  • 34 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts

  • Cooked angel hair pasta, for serving

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, butter, cream of chicken soup, Italian dressing mix, chicken broth, and minced garlic. Stir until smooth and well combined.

  • Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken, ensuring the breasts are well coated.

  • Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until chicken is fully cooked and tender.

  • Remove chicken from slow cooker and shred or slice as desired.

  • Serve chicken and sauce over cooked angel hair pasta.

Notes

  • For a thicker sauce, remove chicken once cooked and simmer sauce on stovetop to reduce before serving.

  • Add fresh parsley or grated Parmesan on top for extra flavor.

  • This dish pairs well with steamed vegetables or a crisp green salad.
