Ingredients

4 thick pork chops, about 1 inch thick

4 tablespoons packed brown sugar

4 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.

Melt butter in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat.

Sear pork chops on both sides until golden brown, about 3–4 minutes per side.

Pour brown sugar mixture over the chops.

Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 10–15 minutes, or until pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

Baste chops with sauce a couple of times while baking.
- Remove from oven, let rest 5 minutes, then serve with the pan sauce spooned over.
