Description

Juicy pork chops glazed with a sweet and savory brown sugar butter sauce, enhanced by soy and Worcestershire for rich depth. An easy and mouthwatering main dish perfect for weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 4 thick pork chops, about 1 inch thick

  • 4 tablespoons packed brown sugar

  • 4 tablespoons butter

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.

  • Melt butter in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat.

  • Sear pork chops on both sides until golden brown, about 3–4 minutes per side.

  • Pour brown sugar mixture over the chops.

  • Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 10–15 minutes, or until pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

  • Baste chops with sauce a couple of times while baking.

  • Remove from oven, let rest 5 minutes, then serve with the pan sauce spooned over.

  • Use a cast iron or oven-safe skillet for best results.

  • Adjust brown sugar to taste for sweetness preference.
