The warm, gooey cinnamon rolls are topped with crispy bacon, a drizzle of maple syrup, and a sprinkle of brown sugar. This easy-to-make breakfast treat is perfect for a weekend brunch or a special morning. With minimal ingredients and little effort, you can elevate your cinnamon rolls into a mouthwatering breakfast favorite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls (8 rolls)

  • 8 pieces bacon

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C), or follow the instructions on the cinnamon roll package.

  • Cook the Bacon: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Once cooked, remove from the skillet and set aside on a paper towel to drain. Once cooled, crumble or chop the bacon into small pieces.

  • Prepare the Cinnamon Rolls: Open the can of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls and arrange the rolls in a greased baking dish. Bake according to package instructions, usually for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.

  • Prepare the Maple Bacon Sauce: While the cinnamon rolls are baking, in a small saucepan, combine the maple syrup and brown sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves and the mixture begins to bubble. Remove from heat.

  • Assemble: Once the cinnamon rolls are finished baking, remove them from the oven and immediately drizzle the maple syrup mixture over the top. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the cinnamon rolls.

  • Serve: Drizzle with the additional 1 tablespoon of maple syrup for an extra sweet finish. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Bacon Alternatives: For a slightly lighter version, you can use turkey bacon or other types of bacon, depending on your preference.

  • Extra Maple Flavor: If you love maple, you can add more maple syrup to the sauce or drizzle some extra on top of the finished rolls.

  • Serving Suggestion: These rolls are great served with fresh fruit, eggs, or a cup of coffee.
