Instructions

  • Prepare the Strawberries:
    • Hull and wash the fresh strawberries, setting them aside for dipping later.
  • Heat the Cream:
    • In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it starts to steam, but do not bring it to a boil.
  • Melt the Chocolate:
    • Reduce the heat to low and add the white chocolate chips to the saucepan. Stir continuously until the white chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
  • Add Flavor:
    • Stir in the vanilla extract and powdered sugar (if using) to sweeten the mixture.
  • Serve:
    • Once the fondue is smooth and creamy, pour it into a fondue pot or a heatproof bowl for serving.
    • Arrange fresh strawberries and any other dippable treats (such as marshmallows, pretzels, or cake cubes) around the fondue for dipping.

Notes
