Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240 g) cold heavy cream

  • 3 tablespoons (22 g) powdered sugar

  • 1 teaspoon (4 g) vanilla extract


Instructions

  • Add the cold heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to a large mixing bowl.

  • Using a hand mixer or stand mixer with a whisk attachment, beat on medium-high speed until soft to medium peaks form, about 3–5 minutes.

  • Be careful not to overmix or the cream may become grainy or turn into butter.

  • Serve immediately, or refrigerate and use within 24 hours.

Notes

For best results, chill your bowl and beaters for 10–15 minutes before whipping. You can adjust the sugar to taste or substitute with a sweetener of choice.
