- 1 medium onion, chopped

- 1 medium head of green cabbage, thinly sliced
- 2 medium carrots, shredded
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- Optional: sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the ground meat and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion, garlic, and grated ginger to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the onion becomes translucent and the garlic is fragrant.
- Add the shredded cabbage and carrots to the skillet. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes, until the cabbage softens and reduces in volume.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar. Pour this sauce over the meat and vegetables. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
- If you like some heat, add the crushed red pepper flakes to the skillet and mix.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly and everything to be heated through.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and optional sesame seeds before serving.
