Description

This Garlic Parmesan Grilled Chicken is bursting with flavor, thanks to a rich and savory garlic Parmesan sauce. The chicken is grilled to perfection and then tossed in a zesty, cheesy sauce with a hint of spice. Perfect for a quick and delicious dinner or served over pasta, salad, or rice.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons butter

  • 3 tablespoons Parmigiano Reggiano (parmesan cheese), grated

  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped

  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped

For the Grilled Chicken:

  • 1 pound boneless and skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

  • Add the chopped garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

  • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes (if using), lemon juice, and chopped parsley. Continue to cook for 1–2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce is smooth and combined. Remove from heat and set aside.

  • Season the chicken pieces with Cajun seasoning, ensuring they are evenly coated.

  • Grill the chicken pieces for 6–8 minutes per side, or until fully cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C).

  • Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and toss it in the prepared garlic Parmesan sauce until well coated.

  • Serve immediately, optionally garnished with extra parsley and Parmesan cheese.

Notes

  • This chicken can also be served with a side of vegetables, pasta, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.

  • If you prefer more heat, add additional red pepper flakes or a pinch of cayenne pepper to the sauce.

  • For a smoky flavor, you can add a dash of smoked paprika to the Cajun seasoning.
