Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs chicken wings (flat and drum pieces)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon seasoned salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
- ⅓ cup butter, melted and room temperature
- ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tablespoon parsley, freshly chopped
- 1 ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. This helps them get crispy when baked.
- In a large bowl, combine the baking powder, seasoned salt, and black pepper. Toss the wings in this dry mixture until evenly coated.
- Place the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
- While the wings are baking, prepare the garlic parmesan sauce. In a bowl, mix the melted butter, grated parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, garlic powder, black pepper, seasoned salt, and hot sauce.
- Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and toss them in the garlic parmesan sauce until fully coated.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- Make sure to use a cooling rack on top of the baking sheet to allow air circulation around the wings for maximum crispiness.
- For a stronger garlic flavor, you can add extra garlic powder or even minced fresh garlic to the sauce.
- You can adjust the level of heat by adding more or less hot sauce, depending on your preference.
