Description
This creamy, savory dip is the perfect blend of cream cheese, sour cream, ranch seasoning, cheddar cheese, and bacon, offering rich and irresistible flavors. Served in crispy wonton cups, it makes a fantastic appetizer for any gathering.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 (1 oz) package ranch seasoning
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 green onions, diced
- 1/8 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/2 cup bacon bits (or 6 pieces cooked, chopped bacon)
Instructions
- Prepare the Dip
- Using an electric mixer, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, ranch seasoning, and seasoned salt until smooth and well-mixed.
- Add the Ingredients
- Stir in the diced green onions, bacon (or bacon bits), and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Chill and Serve
- Chill the dip in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Notes
- Make sure to let the cream cheese soften before mixing. I usually set it out on the counter 30 minutes before preparing.
- I love using cooked crumbled bacon or even turkey bacon for a healthier option. Bacon bits work as a time-saver if you’re in a hurry.
- If the dip has been refrigerated, consider setting it out for 20-30 minutes before serving to allow the cream cheese to soften, making it easier to dip.
- This recipe can be easily doubled for a larger crowd.
