Ingredients
-
1 pound ground beef
-
8 strips bacon, chopped
-
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
-
16 ounces fettuccine pasta
-
2 cups heavy cream
-
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
1/2 cup diced tomatoes
-
Salt and pepper, to taste
-
Chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
-
Cook fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
-
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook chopped bacon until crispy. Remove bacon and drain on paper towels, leaving the rendered fat in the pan.
-
Add ground beef to the skillet with bacon fat and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
-
Lower heat and pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine. Simmer gently for 3-4 minutes.
-
Stir in Parmesan cheese and cheddar cheese until melted and sauce is creamy.
-
Add cooked fettuccine, crispy bacon, and diced tomatoes to the skillet. Toss everything together until pasta is coated and ingredients are evenly mixed.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
-
For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes while cooking the beef.
-
Use turkey bacon or lean ground turkey for a lighter version.
- Fresh diced tomatoes add a burst of freshness but canned can be substituted.
