Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 bananas, cut into 1/2” pieces

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 2 tablespoons raw honey (or regular honey)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Bananas: Peel the bananas and cut them into 1/2″ pieces.

  • Cook the Bananas: Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt the butter in it.

  • Fry the Bananas: Add the banana pieces to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, occasionally stirring, until they begin to soften and brown slightly.

  • Add the Cinnamon: Sprinkle the cinnamon over the bananas and stir to coat them evenly.

  • Drizzle with Honey: Pour the honey over the bananas, stirring to combine, and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the bananas are tender and caramelized.

  • Serve: Serve warm as a snack, dessert, or over pancakes, waffles, or oatmeal.

Notes

  • You can add a pinch of nutmeg or vanilla extract for extra flavor.

  • These bananas can also be topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a special treat.

  • For a dairy-free version, use coconut oil instead of butter.
