Description

This rich, savory twist on classic lasagna brings together all your favorite burger flavors—juicy ground beef, crispy bacon, melted cheese, and a creamy Parmesan garlic sauce—layered with pasta and marinara for the ultimate comfort food mash-up.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 lasagna noodles

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

  • 1 small onion, chopped

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 cups heavy cream

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook noodles: Boil lasagna noodles in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  • Make meat filling: In a large skillet, cook ground beef with chopped onion over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat. Add minced garlic and cook 1 minute. Stir in marinara sauce and crumbled bacon. Simmer for 5 minutes.

  • Make Parmesan garlic sauce: In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese. Cook until thickened, about 4–5 minutes. Remove from heat.

  • Assemble lasagna: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a 9×13-inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of meat sauce. Add a layer of noodles, then meat sauce, drizzle of garlic cream sauce, and a sprinkle of mozzarella. Repeat layers, ending with noodles, garlic sauce, and mozzarella on top.

  • Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10–15 minutes, until bubbly and golden.

  • Garnish & serve: Let rest 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use oven-ready noodles to skip boiling step.

  • For extra cheesy flavor, add provolone or cheddar to layers.

  • Sauce can be made ahead and stored in fridge for up to 2 days.
