Ingredients
-
12 lasagna noodles
-
1 lb ground beef
-
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
-
1 small onion, chopped
-
3 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
-
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
-
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
2 cups heavy cream
-
2 tablespoons butter
-
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
Salt and pepper, to taste
-
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
-
Cook noodles: Boil lasagna noodles in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
-
Make meat filling: In a large skillet, cook ground beef with chopped onion over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat. Add minced garlic and cook 1 minute. Stir in marinara sauce and crumbled bacon. Simmer for 5 minutes.
-
Make Parmesan garlic sauce: In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese. Cook until thickened, about 4–5 minutes. Remove from heat.
-
Assemble lasagna: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a 9×13-inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of meat sauce. Add a layer of noodles, then meat sauce, drizzle of garlic cream sauce, and a sprinkle of mozzarella. Repeat layers, ending with noodles, garlic sauce, and mozzarella on top.
-
Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10–15 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish & serve: Let rest 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
-
Use oven-ready noodles to skip boiling step.
-
For extra cheesy flavor, add provolone or cheddar to layers.
