Description

These Sausage, Egg & Cheese Crescent Rolls are a perfect combination of savory sausage, scrambled eggs, and melted cheese, all wrapped in a warm, flaky crescent roll. A delicious and easy-to-make breakfast option that’s both satisfying and full of flavor!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 eggs

  • 1 can (8 oz.) Pillsbury reduced fat crescent rolls

  • 8 fully cooked breakfast turkey sausage links (Jennie-O recommended)

  • 4 slices reduced fat cheddar cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Prepare the Crescent Rolls: Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the Pillsbury crescent roll can (usually 375°F). Unroll the crescent rolls and place them on a baking sheet, leaving space between each one.

  • Cook the Sausage: Heat the sausage links in a skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until fully heated. Once cooked, slice each sausage link into 2-3 pieces, depending on preference.

  • Scramble the Eggs: Crack the 4 eggs into a bowl, whisk, and season with salt and pepper. Heat a small pan over medium heat, add a little butter or oil, and scramble the eggs until just cooked through.

  • Assemble the Rolls: Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each crescent roll. Add a few pieces of sausage and some scrambled eggs on top of the cheese. Roll them up starting from the wide end, making sure everything is inside the dough.

  • Bake the Crescent Rolls: Bake the rolls according to the package directions (usually 10-12 minutes), or until golden brown.

  • Serve: Allow the rolls to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy as a hearty breakfast or a quick grab-and-go meal.

Notes

  • For added flavor, feel free to add a bit of hot sauce or salsa to the eggs before cooking.

  • These can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for a quick breakfast throughout the week.

  • You can substitute the turkey sausage with regular sausage or even vegetarian sausage if desired.
